Other support services
Young Minds provides information to parents about the different types of counselling and therapy available to young people as well as information on how to be referred.
Kooth is a free online counselling service that young people can access directly. It is anonymous. Their website also has helpful tips and a podcast for young people to listen to.
Express CIC is an independent organisation based in Kingston that supports young people with autism and their families. They run a range of support groups all with fully trained therapists who have completed PDA Society training.
Tellmi is a free anonymous peer support app where young people (aged 11-18 years) can talk about anything with other young people of a similar age and experiences. Each post is monitored by a human before going live and it is available to anyone who attends a school in Kingston Upon Thames.
PORTUS provides information about self-harming and where to seek local help.
