After a busy first term getting to know each other and building connections across our school community, we were happy to see our pupils return to school in January feeling positive and ready to continue their learning.
Through our annual review process, which begins this term, we look forward to celebrating with them and their parents the progress they have made, their hopes for the future and how best to continue supporting them. We also look forward to working with our parents as they develop Spring School Community (our Parent Teacher Association) and plan activities and fundraising.
Pupils have been engaged in lots of exciting learning activities. Wonderful books have been brought to life in the classroom, pupils have tried food from different parts of the world, learned about animal habitats, and even simulated earthquakes and
volcanic eruptions! Some of our older pupils have used their acting skills to create freeze frames for various scenes in their class novel.
Our oldest pupils have been using the coding programme Scratch to create and animate their own scenes, as well as working on a stop motion animation project.
