It has been an exciting and rewarding year, and we are extremely proud of the progress our pupils continue to make.
In May, pupils took part in a workshop that focused on friendships, interpreting their own actions and the impact of leaving people out. There were lots of discussion around what makes a good friendship, and pupils wrote recipes for a good friend. Some of the older pupils considered the differences between personal space and leaving people out, reflecting on the fact that they were not particularly concerned about things that other people might perceive as being left out.
In June, British superstar Stormzy pulled up outside Spring School and signed a football for a Year 5 pupil who is a huge fan of the rapper.
